This Ginger Lemon Spiced Iced Tea is a delightful and refreshing beverage that combines the invigorating zing of fresh ginger with the bright, citrusy notes of lemon, all enhanced by aromatic spices. Brew a big batch of it and enjoy it all week long! 

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups water 
  • 3 black tea bags
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Evermill ginger
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1-2 cinnamon sticks 
  • 2-3 whole Evermill cloves 
  • 1/2 cup honey 
  • Ice 
  • Fresh mint for garnish 

Preparation:

  • In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the sliced and powder ginger, cinnamon sticks, and cloves to the boiling water. 
  • Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes. 
  • Remove from heat and add the tea bags into the spiced water. Let it steep for 3-5 minutes. 
  • Remove the tea bags and discard.
  • Stir in the honey while the tea is still warm. 
  • Cool the tea and remove the ginger slices, cinnamon sticks, and cloves. 
  • Transfer to a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled, at least 1-2 hours. 
  • Add lemon slices to the pitcher before serving. 
  • Garnish with fresh mint, if desired. Enjoy!
